Recently, I watched an old episode of “Survivor,” and a tribe had hiked and trekked for days, looking all over the island they were on for fruit trees or other edibles to forage. After multiple days of searching far and wide and finding nothing, their strength and endurance waning, someone finally realized there was an abundance of pineapples growing right next to their camp.

I think sometimes we may search high and low for answers or solutions when really, the provision is already put in place. It’s already attainable. We don’t have to trek far and wide for sustenance, but only recognize His abundance is near and sufficient. I hear Pappa saying He wants us to recognize that His storehouses are just as open and available to us as He is. Wherever we find ourselves, His provision is near and abundant.

In my time steeping in this podcast, I asked Elohim to help me recognize the storehouses They had in place for me and how I could respond to the ways They wanted to make me a storehouse for others as well. I began to see Heaven’s provision all around me, both in ways I had seen before and needed reminding of, and ways I had never previously considered. It was amazing. They are amazing.

And as the vision of provision began to grow in my sight, the fear and frantic of my needs fell away. When we are constantly recognizing His provision and the many ways He’s pouring into us, wondering how a need will be met feels.. silly. Of course He already has the provision in place. I don’t have to search aimlessly through the wilderness looking for ways to “survive.” I go straight to God, The Way, to know and be known by Their provision in Christ.

INVITATIONS

1. Invite Elohim to help you to recognize how open and available, how abundant and attainable, the storehouses They have in place for you are. Ask Them to overwhelm your vision with Their provision in place, in a way that makes noticing your needs a relationship over rations kind of space.
2. Because recognizing His provision changed my perspective in this way, I felt fully empowered to be able to choose to be who I was created to be in Christ. Invite Elohim to overwhelm you with how provided for you are to live as who you were created to be. How supported by all of Heaven your choice, your bachar, truly is.
